How can I take care of my snake?

Okay, My Corn snake is going to arrive on Wednesday, I didn't know till now, but I'm going on vacation this Friday with my dad. My mom told me she would take care of it, but she won't feed it and I don't know what to do! He's supposed to be fed while I'm gone.. Will he be okay if his food is a few days late?
