Which would make a better pet snake a corn snake or a ball python?

I want to get a pet snake and I've read a few websites and I know that corn snakes, king snakes, milk snakes, and ball pythons are the best for beginners. I think I would like a corn snake or a ball python but I want to hear from people who have or have had these snakes to see which they prefer.
