Where do I tie the strings for the Calypso II kite by HQ and what knot do I use?

I just got a new kite with minimal assembly required. It's a beginner stunt kite and so have two strings. I can't figure out how or where to attach them. The directions have several diagrams, but they are for a larger kite model that have clips for the strings. My model does not. if anyone is familiar with this kite or this problem in general and knows where to tie them, or what knot to tie, that would be very helpful. Thank you.
