What do I need to do to become a software engineer?

I'm 14 and I'm extremely interested in computers. I love Apple products and wish to someday work for them. (If at all possible, then in their Cupertino hq.) I was wondering what classes I would need to take in high school and college (I'm in 8th grade), what degrees I would need, and if I need any other jobs before I head towards that one.
