What are some common military words and items?

I'm about to write some sort of radio script that is based on a soldiers experience on the battlefield, so i want to try use as much military words and items. For example how do soldiers communicate to command center? And what is the name of one (or two) tanks used in the military? How would you say youve been ambushed? How would a group of soldiers give their co-ordinates/location to HQ? There was one more but i forgot :(. More would be helpful, thank you in advance!
