Is 1024 X 764 an HD resolution?

I have an Hp pavilion f1503 monitor and I want to know if the resolution is just HQ or HD or not even good quality. please have the correct answers. im buying a new sixcore pc, amd phenom II x6 3.2ghz and its going to play blueray movies so i want to know if its a good moniter, i have a 1080p hdtv so i can always connect it it on there. so is it worth buying a new monitor?
